The Role
We are seeking a dedicated Retail Sales Executive to join our team in the following territory:
East Anglia, N. & E. London & Cambs
The ideal candidate should reside within the territory, and be able to demonstrate the essential drive and commitment to produce the highest levels of customer service to our existing customer base whilst being able to identify and develop new opportunities to grow the business of this dynamic and vibrant company. Experience with both woven and tufted products is preferable but not essential. Applicants should possess the skills and disciplines necessary for the successful management of this important sales area. You will be responsible for driving retail sales, providing outstanding customer service, and building strong relationships with clients. Your day-to-day tasks will include engaging with customers, presenting product options, understanding customer needs, offering tailored solutions, and achieving sales targets. Additionally, you will support merchandising efforts and ensure a positive in-store experience for all customers.
Key Responsibilities
· Build and maintain relationships with retail partners, ensuring they have the tools and support to successfully sell Cavalier’s premium carpet ranges.
· Promote and present products to retailers, providing expert advice on features, benefits, and design options.
· Drive sales growth across your territory by identifying opportunities and converting them into orders.
· Deliver exceptional customer service, acting as the main point of contact for retailers and resolving queries promptly.
· Support marketing initiatives by ensuring product displays, samples, and promotional materials are up to date and impactful.
· Monitor market trends and competitor activity, sharing insights to help shape sales strategies.
· Achieve and exceed sales targets, reporting progress and maintaining accurate records of activity.
About You
· Proven skills in Retail Sales and Sales, with the ability to meet and exceed targets.
· Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to build trust and rapport with customers.
· Experience in Relationship Building to maintain and grow client connections effectively.
· Self-motivated and proactive in a fast-paced retail setting.
· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
· Familiarity with carpet or flooring products is a plus but not required.
· Prior experience in a retail setting and a results-oriented mindset are advantageous.
· Full UK driving licence required.
