Job Summary
We are seeking a loft insulation installer (Lead Installer) & Installers Helper to join our team.
The ideal candidates will be responsible for installing, upgrading and removing different insulation materials to and from domestic properties. This will be in/around a two-hour radius from your home location (Leeds area).
The Installer will work independently alongside a Helper/Labourer and must be able to follow safety protocols diligently. (We are open to referrals for Installers Helper/labourers).
This is a self-employed position with weekly pay every Friday - Invoice templates provided - great rate of pay.
Immediate start available.
Van provided.
Duties
- Apply insulation materials to the undersides of pitched roofs (inside the loft), loft flooring and more. (Most of the time this will be in residential properties and the occasional commercial setting).
- Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specific areas accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly in the van after use.
- Follow all safety regulations and guidelines while performing duties on-site.
- Completing all necessary paperwork and conducting a debrief with the customer.
Requirements
- A valid driver's licence is required for travel to and from jobs.
- Proven experience in installing insulation or a related energy/loft field is required.
- Ability to communicate with customers professionally & complete post install documents with signatures.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing work conditions.
