About the Company:
Our client is a well-established carpet manufacturing company based in Bury, recognised for producing high-quality flooring products. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced and reliable Warehouse Operative to join their busy team.
The Role:
As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll play a key part in the smooth running of the warehouse. You’ll be responsible for handling goods safely, maintaining accurate stock levels, and supporting all general warehouse operations. This is a hands-on role that can be physically demanding at times, so a strong work ethic and good level of fitness are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Picking and palletising goods ready for dispatch.
- Carrying out stock control and assisting with regular inventory checks.
- Operating FLT and Reach Trucks in accordance with safety standards.
- Supporting with general warehouse duties as required to meet daily targets.
Requirements:
- Valid FLT Counterbalance and Reach Truck licences (in-date and accredited).
- Proven experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role.
- Strong attention to detail and a team-focused attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
