Responsible for providing flooring services in a range of new build schools, hospitals, apartments, hotels etc. Ensuring all work is of a high standard .
Account abilities:
- Install all types of textile and resilient flooring such as sheet vinyl, lino, plywood, including vinyl welding, side form and cove welding, laying fitted and stuck down carpets, latex screeding, DPM work & nosing work.
- Work in conjunction with other trades
- Apply company values and abide by all relevant policies and procedures in particular those relating to equality, safeguarding and health and safety
Skills, knowledge & experience:
- Working with all types of materials including, vinyl / LVT tiles, sheet vinyl, carpet tiles, stuck down carpets, and traditional carpets
- Communicating at all times in a tactful, courteous and patient manner
- Understanding instructions, plans and drawings, producing, maintaining and administering records
- Carrying out all duties having regard to an employee's responsibility under legislation
- Working safely with toxic and caustic substances
- Using vinyl welding equipment
- Using a variety of electrical and hand held tools
- Safely applying training and knowledge of asbestos and manual handling
- CSCS card required
- Driving licence desirable
Vehicle provided, pension & 28 days holiday for cards in labour.
