Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager with experience in Flooring, Decoration and Tiling to oversee operations at our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and supervising staff to maintain high standards of performance. This role is crucial in fostering a productive environment and achieving operational goals.
Duties
- Supervise and manage site personnel, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
- Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow management.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor compliance with company standards and regulations.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations and address any issues that may arise.
- Prepare reports on site performance, including productivity metrics and incident reports.
- Provide training and support to staff to enhance their skills and promote professional development.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role in construction industry
- Experience running £1.5-£2 million pound projects
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations relevant to the industry is advantageous.
- Experience in finishing trades - Flooring/Tiling
- Experience in new build projects
- Proficiency in using standard office software applications.
- Must have NVQ level, SMSTS and First aid
