Site Labourer/Flooring Operative
Sliptech are a niche flooring company working on projects across the UK. Due to company growth we are currently looking to recruit a site labourer to support our contracts team on a permanent 36 hours shift basis. Working mainly on our busy and prestigious London contracts although the company does work nationwide so there could be travel to additional locations required. Hours are variable and shifts available and both day and night shifts in operation.
Ideal applicants will be flexible in their approach to work and happy to work shifts that will include nights. They must be a driver and happy to drive a company vehicle for a shift (please note that some shift start finish times will fall outside public transport operating hours).
Previous experience working on a construction site and a CSCS card or an understanding of the flooring industry would be beneficial but is not a pre-requisite as full training will be provided.
Duties will include:
- Supporting teams on site to ensure swift completion of jobs
- Operating specialist cleaning machinery
- Spot cleaning
- Liaising with clients
- Analysing products usage and dilution
- Conducting tests on flooring
- Adherence to Health and Safety procedures
- Problem Solving
Due to the nature of our work travel will be required as part of the role and can often involve working unsociable hours, with shifts being scheduled for both day and night shifts, where possible we will cluster a week of night shifts, but our diary can be quite fluid and we need to be able to respond to a client's availability.

Overtime is paid for hours worked over 9.5 hour per day and for weekend work, which is an occasional requirement, not regularly working weekends.
