Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Flooring Improver to join our flooring team. The successful candidate will assist in the installation, repair, and finishing of various flooring surfaces, ensuring high standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and installation of flooring materials, including laminate, hardwood, vinyl, and carpet
Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and secure flooring components
Support carpentry tasks related to subfloor preparation and finishing touches
Maintain a clean and organised worksite, adhering to health and safety regulations
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to client specifications
Assist in troubleshooting installation issues and making necessary adjustments

Skills

Experience or knowledge in flooring installation and procedures
Proficiency with hand tools
Familiarity with power tools including drills, sanders, and cutting equipment
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
